Mushroom Supply and Services was founded in February 2003 by partners David Iaconi and Jacque Donnell. A combined 65 years of experience in the mushroom industry allows David and Jacque to offer knowledge and expertise to growers world-wide.

At MSS our goal is simple and has remained unchanged: To bring unique, quality, growing products and equipment to the mushroom farmer. Our commitment to work with the growers and match our products with their growing needs has brought us to the forefront of the supply world.

David Iaconi grew up on his grandfathers farm near Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, known as the "Mushroom Capital of the World." He started working in the mushroom industry in 1974 where he completed various jobs around the mushroom farm.

David moved to South America in 1993 to work and educate local farmers in the business. He returned to the US 3 years later and continued to work in the business, eventually applying his skills and knowledge in the sales and distribution area with MRD corp. He started MSS, Inc. in 2002 with partner Jacque Donnell. David is fluent in Spanish.

Jacque Donnell began working in the mushroom industry in 1980 at MRD Corp. He was responsible for various different jobs including being in charge of the spawning crews, running a lab, and developing humidification systems within the industry.

Jacque and David met in 2000 and together they had the idea of opening their own distribution and service company to growers, shippers and packers not only in and around PA, the "Mushroom Capital of the World," but also in Canada and South America.
